Character - "developing character and worlds ". - A Practical workshop for Magicians
Great magic isn’t just about tricks—it’s about storytelling. This practical workshop explores how strong character and immersive world-building can transform a magician’s performance from a series of effects into a captivating theatrical experience. Through interactive exercises and case studies, participants will explore the creation of unique personas, engaging narratives, and build the worlds in which their magic exists. The workshop will seek to help performers: uncover styles or archetypes that suit their personas; select tricks, costumes, and props that naturally match their character; and weave storytelling into their effects for maximum impact.
Whether working as a stage magician, close-up performer, or mentalist, attendees will gain the tools to bring depth and theatricality to their magic.
